Biography
Albert Vallejo-Gracia is a postdoctoral scholar in Melanie Ott’s laboratory at the Gladstone Institute of Virology and Immunology. He is interested in HIV research with particular interest in HIV latency and T cell biology. His research focuses on a therapeutic strategy named “shock and kill” to promote HIV reactivation from latent viruses in quiescent CD4 T cells, and achieve HIV reservoir clearance. He received his PhD in Biomedicine from the University of Barcelona (Spain).
