Biography

David Gordon focuses on the mapping of genetic and physical interaction networks to study the host-pathogen interface underlying HIV infectivity. Through the acquisition of the first Epistatic Mini-Array Profile (E-MAP) studying virus infectivity, he has pioneered the use of large-scale pairwise genetic interaction screens to study the complexes and pathways mediating the early HIV lifecycle. David’s current work focuses on the scaling of genetic interaction mapping in cultured and primary T-cells.  He is also a recipient of a CFAR Award.
