Biography
I am a behavioral scientist interested in interventions that address structural and economic barriers to HIV prevention and treatment outcomes among vulnerable groups in low-resource settings. I specialize in research methodological and statistical approaches for evaluating intervention efficacy using longitudinal and clustered data, employing advanced statistical techniques. My research interests also extend to the cost-effectiveness of evidence-based HIV prevention interventions, focusing on scaling up successful programs in similar and diverse settings. I’m currently working with Dr. Amy Conroy on projects related to HIV and cardiovascular diseases in Malawi. I hold a PhD in Public Health Sciences from the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis, a Masters in Statistics, and a Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Economics from Makerere University in Uganda.
