My research interests are primarily directed towards investigating molecular mechanisms of HIV latency to develop novel strategies for HIV cure. My research goals include the development of techniques to identify and characterize latently infected cells from tissues. I want to better understand the types of reservoir cells that next-generation latency reversal agents can target, and to identify potential biomarkers and pathways for reservoir clearance.
