Monthly Workshops: Focusing on developing knowledge of the UCSF research environment, and practical skills for managing a career in HIV research. Held every third Friday from 9-10 AM.

Annual Leadership Retreat: Provides a full day for early stage investigators to build leadership skills and receive focused feedback from peers and senior investigators. For early career investigators.

Early Stage Investigator (ESI) Leadership Retreat 2019
The CFAR Mentoring Program is designed to help develop the scientific career goals of early stage HIV investigators and postdoctoral scholars. To that end, on Friday, June 28, 2019 we will sponsor our 6th Annual Early-Stage Investigator (ESI) Leadership Retreat. Drs. Jonathan Fuchs and Monica Gandhi have developed a fully packed ¾ day event that responds to high priority professional development needs shared by UCSF ESIs.
