Biography

My professional goal is to reach across diverse fields to generate new approaches to HIV prevention. I have worked on epidemiological, clinical, and basic science studies seeking to address ongoing questions in the development of HIV vaccines, as well as systemic and topical pre-exposure prophylaxis. I am interested in designing clinical trials that incorporate biobehavioral and sociocultural research in order to maximize the "real-world" effectiveness of HIV prevention strategies.
