Biography

Holly Martin is a first-year postdoctoral researcher at the SF Veteran Affairs Medical Center/UCSF. My research focuses on understanding mechanisms of HIV-1 latency and current barriers to a functional cure. My research goals include the development of techniques to determine differences in transcriptional profiles from cells infected with either defective or infectious provirus as well as assessing the integration sites of these proviruses.
