Hannah Leslie PhD, MPH

Hannah Leslie is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Prevention Sciences; she received her PhD in epidemiology from the University of California, Berkeley and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in health systems at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health. In her research, Dr. Leslie is interested in developing and applying novel methods to measure health care quality and to identify health system attributes as targets for scalable interventions to improve health for marginalized and underserved populations. 

An epidemiologist and health systems researcher; my research has addressed the measurement of health system quality and HIV care quality at national and local levels. I am interested in working towards interventions to strengthen health services to reduce inequities in health outcomes; I have conducted research with collaborators in South Africa as well as Latin America, including Mexico and Peru.
