Biography
Gavin’s commitment to social justice has led him to work as a trainer, educator, evaluator and community organizer as well as client advocate.
As a long-time leader in HIV prevention, Gavin has led several successful
efforts to bring diverse communities together to encourage honest dialogue
within communities to increase awareness and to develop effective HIV prevention
strategies.
In this role Gavin is working to decrease racial health disparities and promote equity by normalizing conversations on race and working with providers to develop culturally competent and effective integrated behavioral health and primary care networks that will make a difference in our communities and in our workforce.
