Ariana Salinas

Biography

Arianna Salinas is the Clinical Research Coordinator for the TRIUMPH Project, a community-led PrEP demonstration project at the Center of Excellence for Transgender Health at UCSF. Before working with UCSF, Arianna worked as an experienced Health Educator, encouraging health and wellness to prevent disease. She has extensive experience helping people make good health decisions, incorporate healthy activities into their lives, and avoid harmful behaviors. She also assists health specialists and civic groups to determine community health needs and the availability of services, and to develop goals for meeting gaps in services offered to communities. Arianna started working as a performer in Finochio’s in 1987, and to this day continues to perform in various clubs around the Bay Area. Her work keeps her in close contact with the LGBT community in the Bay.
