My current research focuses on the study of HIV-1 latency reversion in primary CD4 T cells from HIV-infected individuals on ART. Specifically, my work is dedicated to the identification and analysis of novel and non-toxic latency reversing agents (LRA) that are non-toxic, prevent broad T cell activation, but are able to induce LTR transcription and virus production.
