Dr. Zamudio-Haas is a social scientist based in the Division of Prevention Sciences, at the Center for AIDS Prevention Studies (CAPS) and Center of Excellence in Transgender Health at UCSF. She received her master’s in Global Health and Population (MSc) from Harvard Chan School of Public Health and her doctorate in public health (DrPh) from UC Berkeley. Since joining UCSF, she has led and collaborated on 15 different studies in Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean, focused on increasing access to HIV prevention and treatment and improving service quality for most affected populations. Dr. Zamudio-Haas is trilingual and speaks fluent Spanish and Portuguese.
