Our first meeting will be an in-person meeting, Friday, November 1st from 11-3PM, with lunch provided from 12-1PM. The meeting will take place in Mission Bay (location TBD). We will provide a virtual option for the 11-12p hour.
Below is a quick lineup of the event:
- 11-12: Introduction to the CFAR Mentoring Program –
Drs. Jonathan Fuchs and John Sauceda - 12-1: Networking lunch
- 1-3: Strengths Discovery workshop – Paul Axelrod, UCSF Learning and Development
- Optional 3ish-5: Junior Faculty in AIDS Research Networking Event (location TBC)
The Strengths Discovery workshop will help you identify what you do best and how you can contribute and use your talents in your work and life to accomplish your goals. This was a new session we added last year, and the participants really enjoyed it. Please note for the Strengths Discovery Workshop, everyone will need to complete a 30-minute assessment by Friday 10/18.
