Jennifer Lam, PhD, MPH

Biography

I am an epidemiologist and Research Scientist at the Kaiser Permanente Northern California Division of Research. Using electronic health record data and HIV registries, I study the interactions of HIV infection, aging, and multimorbidity, with a particular emphasis on cognitive impairment, dementia risk, and other long-term health outcomes among people with HIV. I also collaborate on research examining frailty, cardiometabolic health, sleep disorders, substance use, renal disease, and other factors that influence health and well-being among people with HIV.
