As an intensivist and pulmonologist, I am committed to improving critical care and respiratory health worldwide. My recent work has focused on researching clinical outcomes of acute illness in sub-Saharan Africa, where there is a substantial burden of HIV-related disease. I am also interested in reducing chronic lung disease among persons living with HIV.
