Biography
Dr. Keith J. Horvath (pronouns: he/him/his) is a Professor in the Department of Psychology at San Diego State University, and a member of the Behavioral Medicine faculty in the SDSU/UCSD Joint Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology. The primary focus of his research program is to develop and test HIV prevention and treatment interventions for sexual and gender minority adults and youth. As a part of those efforts, he uses both qualitative and quantitative methods to identify community-informed best practices for HIV-related mHealth interventions. In addition to his research activities, he teaches a doctoral-level course on grant writing and evidence-based behavioral medicine interventions.
