Postdoctoral Fellow, National Clinician Scholars Program
Jose I. Gutierrez, PhD, FNP-BC is a nurse-scientist and current Fellow with the National Clinician Scholars Program at UCSF. He is interested in HIV-research that centers on preventative and harm-reduction interventions, as well as behavior & decision science. Specifically, his research focuses on improving the continuum of care for delivery of preference-based HIV treatment and PrEP interventions utilizing conjoint analysis and discrete choice experiments. Originally a Midwesterner from Illinois, Jose received his PhD and Master of Science in Nursing at Yale University.
