I am an early stage investigator with content expertise in substance use research, and training in epidemiological methods. My current research agenda aims to advance intervention science for people who use drugs. I am interested in developing integrative interventions for substance users who are HIV-positive, at high-risk of acquiring HIV, other sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and/or hepatitis C. In addition, I am interested in measuring the socio-behavioral, contextual and environmental factors that exacerbate HIV/STIs and hepatitis C transmission among people who use drugs.
