The Great Escape: How Leukemia Rewrites Its Identity to Evade Immunotherapy
Pablo Domizi, PhD, is a Senior Research Scientist in the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Stanford University. His research focuses on the mechanisms of resistance to immunotherapies in pediatric B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL), integrating single-cell multi-omics, functional genomics, and translational models to identify biomarkers and therapeutic strategies that improve the durability of CAR T-cell therapy and bispecific antibodies. His work has been published in leading journals, including Nature Communications, and has been recognized with awards from the American Society of Hematology (ASH), the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC), and the International Society for Cell & Gene Therapy (ISCT).
