Dr. Nachun is an instructor in the department of Pathology at the Stanford University School of Medicine. His research focus is on the development and application of computational methods for analyzing large-scale genomics datasets. The methods he develops bridge the gap between statistics and machine learning with an emphasis on statistical rigor, computational efficiency and ease of use. His applied analyses have focused on the intersection of immunology with diseases of aging including cancer, neurodegeneration and atherosclerosis and the identification of causal genes in complex traits.
