Biography
Jessica Haberer, MD, MS studies real-time adherence monitoring and intervention strategies for the treatment and
prevention of both HIV and tuberculosis. Her projects are primarily based in East and South Africa, and current work focuses on supporting PrEP for adolescent girls and young women in sub-Saharan Africa.
Dr. Haberer also serves as the Director of Research at the MGH Center for Global Health and is a frequent consultant to the US National Institutes of Health, the World Health Organization, and numerous academic researchers. She is additionally committed to active mentorship, promotion of diversity among HIV researchers, and equity in global health research partnerships.
