Dr. Ariane van der Straten

Ariane is the Director of the Women's Global Health Imperative program, a Senior Fellow at RTI International, and a Professor at UCSF in the dept. of Medicine.
She conducts socio-behavioral and biomedical research to evaluate diverse HIV prevention biomedical interventions and MPTs, and is leading the development of a biodegradable implant as an end-user informed long-acting drug delivery platform.
