CFAR Developmental Core
The goal of the Developmental Core is to support the next generation of HIV/AIDS researchers. Our programs include direct funding through our awards programs and a model mentorship program. In addition, our program leadership actively seeks opportunities to encourage collaborative, multidisciplinary efforts, and to identify and support emerging research of particular urgency and merit.
Awards
The UCSF-GIVI CFAR has awarded more than $4.1 Million in developmental research funding. Funding statistics for recent years are available: 2009-10; 2008.
Mentorship
CFAR's Mentorship Program supports new researchers by providing a structured forum for professional development.
